Eine kurze Frage. Angenommen, ich verliere mein Ledger-Gerät, aber ich habe noch den Pin und den Seed-Code. Bin ich auf die Ledger-Geräte angewiesen, um meine Krypto wiederherzustellen oder gibt es ein anderes Gerät/Plattform, die ich verwenden kann?

Ich würde denken, dass es theoretisch, solange ich meine öffentliche Adresse und meinen Seed-Code kenne, eine Fülle von Möglichkeiten für mich geben sollte, auf mein Vermögen zuzugreifen.

All you need is the seed. You can import the same seed into another hardware wallet. Either Ledger, or any of the other manufacturers. They all support the same seed standard.

Hello, In case of damage, loss, or theft of your Ledger wallet device you can restore access to your accounts thanks to your 24-word recovery phrase either:

on another Ledger Wallet (recommended)
or on any BIP39 compatible software wallet: https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404388633489-Export-your-accounts?docs=true

If you have lost your device, rest assured, your PIN code should prevent any thief to steal your cryptos because after three incorrect PIN codes being input on the device, your lost Ledger device will get reset to its factory settings, erasing the 24-wor recovery phrase it holds.

Keep in mind that your 24-word recovery phrase is what is stored on your Ledger device and grants access to your funds. You must never reveal it and never lose it.

Yes, you can use any bip39-compliant wallet to recover access to your funds, but for safety i would recommend using another ledger or at least another hardware wallet.

If you recover access with a software wallet, your seed phrase is at risk or being compromised, so you should immediately transfer all your assets to some accounts unrelated to this seed (e.g. to centralized exchanges accounts), and never use this seed again (nor accounts derived from it).
