Meine Fragen lauten also wie folgt:
1.) Warum wird der ADA nicht in der Liste der Konten der Suite angezeigt?
2.) Wie komme ich ohne meinen Trezor in AdaLite oder zu meinem ADA, wenn ihm etwas zustößt?
3.) Sollte ich einen Seed bekommen?

Gast::Just to add to the other response, most of the Cardano-native wallets support trezor, as well. If you’re looking to access your ada, or use it, you can use adalite, Daedalus, Nami, ccvault, typhon, yoroi, and maybe some newer wallets that I’m not as familiar with. These wallets will also let you stake your ada directly from the hardware wallet.

Gast::Hi! ADA will never show in Trezor Suite because the software doesn’t support it. The device does, and that’s why you can use your Trezor to interact with the Cardano blockchain via an interface like AdaLite. When you Unlock your Trezor’s wallet on AdaLite, you won’t enter a mnemonic/seed phrase because this would generate/open a completely different wallet from the one on your device.
So, to summarize:
1. you need an interface like AdaLite to manage ADA and Cardano-compatible tokens/NFTs because Trezor Suite doesn’t support showing the balance
2. you’ll never enter a mnemonic because the private keys (which is what a mnemonic is) are stored in the Trezor and imported into AdaLite when you Unlock the TrezorHope this helps. You can contact me by using the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page on AdaLite.

EDIT: to answer your second question, you can restore your wallet onto a brand new Trezor device if you lose your existing device by ‚recovering‘ a wallet with the seed phrase you wrote down and stored safely when you set up your Trezor.
I’m not recommending that you lose the device, obviously, but it’s not the end of the world if you do. It might be the end of the world if you lose your recovery phrase, though, so take their advice and write it down multiple times to store in multiple safe places.

Gast::OK – So the app is on the computer.
I guess in my mind I had hoped the Trezor or another hardware wallet would help me secure everything in one place. I have no idea how anybody would even know I have an AdaLite wallet if something happens to me. They would go to the Trezor and see those accounts, but the AdaLite isn’t going to show. Somehow I think things are going to have to become more intuitive before there is mass adoption of Crypto.
Anyway, I will just have to make notes somewhere that there is an AdaLite wallet that has to be opened by the Trezor but it isn’t going to show in the Trezor suite. That just seems odd.

Gast::Hi, I’ll get straight to your questions:
1. ADA is not natively supported in Trezor Suite, therefore you have to use an integrated third-party wallet for that. Here [https://trezor.io/coins/#ADA](https://trezor.io/coins/#ADA) in the „Wallets“ column you can see all the 3 wallets you can use for ADA with Trezor. Some coins, though supported in Trezor’s firmware, just have to be used in a third-party interface. However, we are actually working on implementing ADA in Trezor Suite.
2. Your wallet is represented by a seed, and if anything happens to your physical Trezor device, you can always take the seed and import it to another Trezor, or to another compatible wallet to regain access to your coins.
3. You were supposed to set up a wallet as per the instructions displayed on Trezor when you first connected it to a computer – that is connecting to [Trezor Suite](https://suite.trezor.io/) that would guide you through the onboarding process during which you create a wallet and write down your seed.
