Ive nie getauscht Münzen mit 3rd Party mit Ledger & im nervös, etwas zu tun, bevor ich genau weiß, was im tun. Versuchen, einige Münzen mit metaMask oder Coinbase Wallet durch Ledger zu tauschen…

Ich pflegte zu senden meine Münzen aus, Swap & zurück zu senden, weil ich nie wirklich verwendet dapps vor, aber versuchen zu lernen…

Your Ledger device does not hold the coins.

The coins are on the blockchain. What your Ledger device is for is NOT holding coins, but making safe transactions.

It does not matter where or how you make the transactions, as long as the transactions are confirmed on the blockchain, they will appear in every wallet software.

Your Ledger device knows which addresses you have in your wallet, and then accesses the transactions relevant to those addresses to get the amount of coins. So, your Ledger device only shows whats relevant for you on the blockchain.

 

Before doing anything, make test transactions with small amounts.

When you connect to a dapp, with Metamask for example, you connect with your public adress. So every action you do, will be on this adress.
When you do a swap, make sure you have imported the destination token in metamask if you want to see it.

If you connect your Ledger device to a third-party wallet, you can consider the third-party wallet as a replacement for Ledger Live.

When using Metamask in order to interact with DAPPS you need to make sure that your Ledger account is selected.
