Hallo.

Ich habe xmr von kraken.com zu meinem Ledger nano ’s gesendet… Jetzt habe ich bemerkt, dass mein Ledger plötzlich kaputt ist… Bildschirm ist schwarz… So kann ich nicht importieren die xmr zu meinem Ledger… Jetzt mein anderes großes Problem, ich habe die Wiederherstellungsphrase verloren 😑… Gibt es irgendeine Lösung, wie ich meine Kryptowährung zurückbekommen kann? Oder ist sie jetzt wirklich verloren?

Dear, I really don’t understand how you lost seeds and broke your device at same time, you suppose to have 2 copy of seeds at different locations, you must read the complete guidance in [ledger.com](https://ledger.com) before using the device.

Anyway is the device totally broken ? or only screen? I hope only screen isn’t working, so you can somehow replace the LCD and transfer your assets.

Warning:

-Don’t enter your seed into anything except the Ledger device itself.

-Download / update ledger live software from official website only.

-Never use search engine to access ledger website.

-Ignore all messages in your inbox and mark them as spam.

-Never click links or install software from an e-mail.

-Never respond to someone request to download remote applications(Team viewer, anydesk and etc.)

-Always conduct a small amount test while sending or receiving your funds and verify that the correct wallet address was copied/pasted into address bracket.

If you ledger still causes the computer to do a Dong sound when you connect it with usb, and if you can see it in the connected usb devices list on the computer, then the ledger still works, and it is just a display issue

It is easy to change / replace the display on a ledger, so if i were you that’s what i would do i already did that on a nano S that had a display that turned black. Replacement nano displays go for about $5 on aliexpress. Maybe $15 from US resellers. No special tools needed and there are youtube videos showing the process.

You have a good answer already *(faceof333)* but just to shorten and simplify: you’ll need working access to your Ledger or your seed phrase. Other than that you lost access to your funds.

If your device is not functioning and you don’t have your recovery phrase, then you will likely not be able to recover those assets. If you have a significant sum within that ledger, I’d find a way to contact Ledger directly to see if you can work out a way for them to fix it without wiping. Either that or possibly have someone with an specialty in fixing Ledger devices.

If whatever you have in there is less than the costs you’d have to pay for what I listed above, then yeah, it’s gone.

1. Do NOT reply to DM’s
2. Do you still have your pin?
3. If so, are you sure your ledger is broken?
4. If it is, not much you can do without the recovery phrase
5. If you do get the ledger working, enter the pin and move all your assets to an exchange you trust.
6. Buy new ledger.
7. Create a new seed phrase and move coins back

I know not much of this will help, but if you do not have a working ledger and you do not have the seed phrase.. I am sorry, it is lost.

You either need 1) access to working Ledger + PIN, or 2) recovery phrase.

 

Yes, you have lost access to everything, and no one can do anything about it.
