Ich habe kürzlich versucht, über meinen Laptop mit Windows 8.1 auf meine Krypto-Konten bei Ledger zuzugreifen. Ich erhielt die Meldung, dass Ledger nicht mehr mit diesem Betriebssystem kompatibel sei. Ich geriet in Panik, weil mir klar wurde, dass ich mit einem einfachen Tweak aller Betriebssysteme den Zugriff auf meine Kryptowährungen verweigern könnte. Ist Linus noch sicherer, oder träumen wir, dass wir ein langfristig sicheres Tauschmittel haben? Ich glaube nicht. Irgendwelche Gedanken?

There’s no such thing as „Ledger crypto accounts“. Your crypto address is completely independent of the device you choose to use to access it.

Neither your Ledger Nano device nor your Ledger Live has anything to do with your crypto.

Your crypto is stored on your seed phrase. As long as you have your seed phrase, you can always access your crypto.

I upgraded to windows 10, and I am thinking it is as much or more a security risk as 8.1 what in your opinion is the safest OS? Thanks
