Hallo Leute

Ich habe Bitcoin zwischen zwei verschiedenen Ledger-Geräten gesendet. Sagen wir, ich hatte 2 bitcoin und schickte 1 an das neue Gerät. Ich überprüfte jetzt meine alte Adresse auf Blockchain-Explorer und es sagte 1 wurde an das neue Gerät gesendet, aber die andere ist jetzt in eine neue Adresse. Ich vermute, dass dies als eine neue Adresse generiert wurde, aber immer noch mein und zugänglich durch Ledger Live ist.

Klingt das richtig?

Doesn’t matter where you sent them to; when you split up an amount that was previously in 1 transaction, the remainder is sent to a change address that is tied to your wallet/recovery phrase/derivation path.

Each device is a separate wallet. When you set up the device it creates the addresses on each device. If you have both devices, you have access to the 1 BTC in each. It is visible in Ledger Live.

Yes, you are right, the other address where the rest of your BTC goes is known as a [change address](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033802154-Change-addresses-for-UTXO-based-crypto-assets?support=true). This address belongs to your account where you sent the funds from and it derived from your account.
