Ich habe einen Freund, der veraltete Firmware auf dort Ledger x hat. Es Computer-Software ist zu alt, um Ledger Live-App verwenden. Gibt es eine Lösung, um die Firmware durch eine andere App zu aktualisieren? Oder eine andere Möglichkeit, die Firmware zu aktualisieren? Wäre ein Smart TV in der Lage, ledger live herunterzuladen? Um die Firmware zu aktualisieren?
Oder ist die einzige Lösung, einen Computer zu bekommen, der ledger live installieren kann? Ich danke Ihnen im Voraus.

No. You need to install the latest LL on a supported OS in order to update the device firmware.

Hi, the only way to perform an [update of your Ledger Nano X](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013349800-Update-Ledger-Nano-X-firmware?docs=true) is to use Ledger Live desktop, or you can use Ledger Live Mobile but on an Android Phone, you will need to use the cable in order to connect it to the phone.

It will not work on a Smart TV or by using any other software to use Ledger Live desktop, or you can use Ledger Live Mobile but on an Android Phone, you will need to use the cable in order to connect it to the phone.

No, you can’t use a smart tv. How old is this machine that can’t support Ledger Live?

Depending on how tech savvy you are you could reformat the old PC and use Linux then install the ledger software.
