      I had the same symptoms.

Try leave it plugged into the charger overnight – worked for me, it’s been good ever since

It’s not dead… just dormant. Leave it for 24hrs charging. Then turn it on, keep resetting, and double pressing the buttons, resetting and double-pressing. It’ll come back to life.

Well, when the battery dies, the Nano X still works fine, but it just need to be used via a USB connection, or at least, it needs to get power from its USB port.

Honest question, what are you doing with the device that you need to operate it with the battery compared to operating it while plugged in to a power source?

I’ve noticed the display has gotten significantly fainter. So , leaving it plugged in for 24 hrs should do the trick?

We have a battery troubleshooting guide [here](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409233434641-How-to-troubleshoot-Ledger-Nano-X-battery-issues?support=true) that might help to resolve this issue. If the guide does not help, and the device is no longer under warranty, open a support ticket on our site [here](https://support.ledger.com/) for potential alternatives.
