Ich habe gerade meine Ledger nano S + heute und ich habe eine harte Zeit versucht, herauszufinden, wie ich meine Gelder von meinem Hot Wallet (Coinbase Wallet) zu diesem neuen kalten Wallet übertragen. Ich habe es gerade erst eingerichtet. Muss ich mein Guthaben zurück zu Coinbase transferieren, um das Geld zu überweisen? Was ist der beste Weg, um dies zu tun, ohne die hohen Gasgebühren?

Step one.. you set up your ledger and you have written down your recovery phrase.

Step two,, you add the apps of the coins wallets you need to add to your ledger. (Connect your ledger to ledger live, bottom left “my ledger” add the apps, and wallets.

Step three, go to your coinbase wallet and select send whatever… btc. Whatever you got.

Step 4, go back to ledger live and select the receive, and then pick the wallet/asset from the drop down. Copy the address.

Step 5, go back to your coin base wallet, past the address you just copied into the “where are you sending this to box…

Step 6 send a small test transaction, and wait. Ledger live will ask you to confirm on your device the address, but it’s just a formality.. when you are receiving your ledger isn’t doing much, just giving you a chance to double check the address really.

If all goes well with the test.. rinse and repeat.

Good job getting a hardware wallet, keep it locked up.

Don’t rush, if your in coinbase wallet your safe… better then on the exchange.

If your coins are ERC20 tokens, you’ll just have to pay the gas fee. But let’s say you have MATIC, the you can use the Polygon network instead.
