Bevor ich ein Krypto-Konto in Ledger Live hinzufüge, ist es erforderlich, dass ich die entsprechende App auf dem Ledger-Gerät installiert habe? Zum Beispiel, bevor ich XRP-Konto in Ledger Live hinzufügen ich bin erforderlich, um die XRP-App auf dem Ledger-Gerät installieren herunterladen?

Hey, you are indeed correct, after setting up your Ledger device. You will need to install the crypto app you want, which allows you to secure its private keys, then you add an account for this crypto app, to be able to generate it’s receiving address, which will all be protected under your 24 words recovery phrase!

Regarding the unsolicited NFTs or drops you might receive, scammers send these in bulk, please make sure to never interact with them on chain (meaning do not send/sell/list etc..) as they can hold a smart contract with malicious intent. In a normal circumstance you would install the app on the device then make the account in Ledger Live, I’m not sure you can bypass this process.

In regards to random tokens/NFTs being sent to addresses, they are 100% scams. Generally phishing scams that will try to get you to follow a link or interact with the smart contract they are associated to. Just ignore them.
