Hat schon mal jemand eine 12-Wort-Seed-Phrase, die mit der BitPay-App generiert wurde, in Ledger geladen? Bei mir scheint es den Seed-Phrase zu akzeptieren, aber zeigt einen Saldo von 0 über alle Kontotypen (ich habe alle vier hinzugefügt, nur um sicher zu sein). Ich habe Bitcoin auf dieser Wallet, aber ich kann sie nicht in Ledger anzeigen lassen. Für Hinweise wäre ich sehr dankbar. 🙏

If the seed phrase originated from outside the Ledger device, why even bother using a cold wallet? At some point, that key could have been compromised.

You’d be better off just creating a new seed phrase with your ledger and transferring everything over.

I don’t want to sound mean but it seems like you lack understanding of what a private key is and why it’s important to generate it offline. Before investing your hard earned money into cryptos, please do some basic research, it will save you from a lot of pain.

Don’t, if the seed has ever touched an online device it’s less safe. Just generate a new seed on the device and move your coins.

End result: After many messages back and forth with bitpay and ledger customer support, neither could confirm whether or not the bitpay wallet seedphrase can be restored on ledger. The ledger accepts the seedphrase, suggesting that it can. It also seems like the bitpay deriv path of m/44’/0’/0′ would work with the Legacy bitcoin account on ledger (44’/0’/0’/0/0).

But apparently not, as the balances all have 0 every time. If the m/44’/0’/0′ path doesn’t work on ledger, some kind of error message would be extremely helpful.
