Gibt es eine Frist für das Einrichten Ihres ledger nano s plus, nachdem Sie es gekauft haben?

Ich möchte jetzt einen kaufen, ihn aber erst nach einer Weile einrichten.

Vielleicht in ein paar Jahren, da dies ein Geschenk ist, das ich meinem Neffen geben möchte, der noch jung ist, aber ich werde es in ein paar Jahren für sie einrichten, wenn sie älter sind.

Entweder das oder ich richte es einfach jetzt ein.

Hey – There is no deadline for setting up your Ledger Nano S Plus after purchase. You can buy it now and set it up in a few years when you’re ready to give it to your nephew. Please make sure to store it in a safe and secure place until then. Remember, when you do set it up, it should be done as a new device to generate a new private key and unique 24-word recovery phrase. you need to update it every three months once its activated or you could get the battery charging error. Thats the isues with activating it now.

with activating it later:
it might be obsolete, ledger has 3 or 4 obsolete models atm, the keys still work but the device is just a paper weight now.
