Did you send it from Binance? You don’t need to connect the Ledger if you know your wallet address so if you sent from Binance and disconnected your Ledger won’t have any effect. You only need to use your Ledger when sending from your Ledger device.

Check the Tx on the blockchain if you did in fact send it from your Binance Exchange

Unplugging your ledger, turning it on/off, or smashing your computer during the transfer…all these things are irrelevant. Double-check the withdrawal and that’s it.

If you sent it to your wallet and it was successfully sent then I am not sure why it wouldn’t be in your wallet, even if it isn’t showing on Ledger Live yet.

Make sure Binance actually sent it. They should give you a transaction ID that you could check on a Bitcoin Blockchain explorer website to see if the transaction actually occured.

Only if you see that the transaction did indeed confirm and you still aren’t seeing it on the Ledger do you have an actual issue with your Ledger wallet.

First off, don’t respond to DMs asking you to validate your wallet, it’s a scam. Secondly, did you check the blockchain to see if it’s confirmed?

You were in the middle of a bitcoin transaction and just stopped because you had something more important to do. I’m trying not to be mean but damn that was dumb.

Connect your wallet to Electrum and see from there

If you inputted your correct address when sending, and you withdrew from Binance correctly, trace and find the Transaction ID on Binance and thus find the transaction hash and view the transaction in a block explorer (eg. blockchair) to know whether it’s in mempool waiting to be confirmed.

Your Ledger device does not need to stay plugged in to receive funds (*you only plug it in to verify that the address Ledger Live shows is EXACTLY what’s on the device. Trust what is shown on the device itself. But if you know your address well, there’s no cause for alarm).

Well, rest assured you can’t lose money like that. All transactions for bitcoin are atomic. Either they happen, or they do not.

You may have a software issue with your software wallet.

Either way, the bitcoin is either here, or there, with the worst case scenario being you sent it somewhere you shouldn’t have.

To receive on ledger you don’t need to connect the device just make sure you have the right address wallet, to see the transaction on blockchain use the following link:

      https://blockchain.com/btc/address

      Warning:

-Don’t enter your seed into anything except the Ledger device itself.

-Download / update ledger live software from official site only.

-Ignore all messages in your inbox and mark them as spam.

-Never use search engine to access ledger website.

-Always conduct a small amount test while sending or receiving your funds and verify that the correct wallet address was copied/pasted into in address bracket.

Hi, Sorry to know that!! You need not keep your Ledger device connected to receive cryptos. Normally you are supposed to follow the steps as explained here – https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404389453841-Receive-crypto-assets?docs=true

Blockchain transactions may take longer than usual depending on the network congestion. If you still don’t see your successful transaction in the Ledger Live application, please submit a request with the “Help” button on this page and share your case number here – https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4423020306705-Contact-Us?support=true
