Enthält das neueste Firmware-Update von Ledger immer noch die “Option”, den Seed zu splitten und an ein Verwertungsunternehmen zu senden, oder haben sie beschlossen, das nicht mehr zu tun?

Ich frage für jemanden, der seine Ledger-Firmware nicht aktualisieren möchte, bis diese Option entfernt ist.

It is an option, although you can’t even enable it now. No need to put it in quotes, but why would you be trusting the firmware you have now, but not the update?

If the update was malicious, do you think they would have launched an ad campaign and written details into the changelog?

So if you have trusted Ledger up to now, there’s no reason to stop, unless you trust misinformed social FUD more. If that’s the case, then use another hardware wallet and good luck to you.

It doesn’t affect you if you don’t use it. Ledger should just do a detailed video of the architecture of their device since a lot are really misinformed from social medias.
