Ich habe ihnen meine Situation geschildert, ich habe das Produkt vor etwa einem Monat gekauft. Ich sagte ihnen, dass es als etwas beworben wurde, das dann geändert wurde. Mein Antrag wurde abgelehnt, und sie wollten ihn nicht einmal einreichen. Ich fand es sehr verdächtig, dass der Schadensregulierer mich fragte, ob diese neue Funktion etwas sei, das ich anklicken müsse, um sie zuzulassen. Als ob sie bereits wüssten, dass Ledger gesagt hat, dass wir es auf dem Gerät genehmigen müssen.

If you’re going this route, then the issue is that Ledger misrepresented the product as having certain characteristics (highest security because the keys physically can’t leave the device) which proved to be false. The product is not as described, or defective as a cold wallet.

People’s success with this approach might vary based on how long ago the purchase was made, how many purchases they’ve disputed in the past, etc, but all the major CC companies should be able to process chargebacks based on this line of reasoning…

You want a refund because of the device’s ABILITY to send the seed. Not because they have a recovery service.
