Hi! First of all, ignore your DMs. They are all scammers.

Now, in your question. Your Crypto are not stored on your PC or your Ledger, but on the blockchain. The thing that is stored on your Ledger, is your keys.

So, the only way for someone to steal your Crypto is by having the physical device and your pin or by having your 24-word seed phrase. Now, you should store your recovery phrase, by writing it down, on paper or steel (never online), and secure it safely. So, if you don’t have your recovery phrase stored digitally (and you shouldn’t) in any file on your PC, you are safe.

Also, it is good to delete the Ledger Live app. They can’t steal your Crypto by looking at it, but if they see it they will know that you have Crypto, and if they can surpass the password they will know, and how much exactly. So, for your safety (because you don’t know who these technicians are), it is better to not have info like this.

As long as you didn’t store your seed phrase in your computer your crypto locked up with the Ledger will be fine.

I must say that if it were me, I would remove the ssd and then send it in. You really don’t know what a technician is going to do after fixing it. He may be curious to see what’s on your drive.

Lol bro ain’t no chance they’re covering you spilling water all over it under warranty

It’s insurance you need. Warranty is just for defects that were *their* fault.

If you keep a pin required to access your ledger live client than no they can’t see info such as balances or hold amounts

No risk of theft. But – they could copy your wallet file from ledger live and crack the password and see your funds.

If you can still boot the computer then remove your wallets from ledger live. Then remove ledger live.

Ledger live password set. No sensitive files saved on laptop. Ur ok.

If the recover phrase is stored safe then ur funds safe and they can’t touch anything
