Ich habe einige Nachforschungen über Shamir angestellt. Für mich sah es ein bisschen kompliziert und nicht wirklich notwendig aus. Ich bin neu bei Trezor, daher bin ich mir nicht sicher, wie die Meinung der Community dazu ist.

Ich möchte nur lange Zeit Hodl benutzen und bewahre meine Wallet an einem sicheren Ort auf.

Shamir is not complicated.

With a seed you have one set of words, and those words recover your wallet. With Shamir, you just have multiple sets of words and some number of them are required to recover. So instead of 1 of 1, maybe it’s 2 of 3.

If someone were to find the 1 and only part of your seed, they can steal your coins.

If someone were to find 1 part of your Shamir, they can’t do anything. They need 2 parts to steal your coins.

With trezor it’s all a wizard right on the device to create and use a Shamir. It’s very easy.

Seed is the simplest way, note the words with a piece of paper and that’s all you need to do

+ In the event of trezor no longer exist you can use the seed words to import into another wallet

Shamir is a little advanced.

And it’s common for people to start with ‘normal’ seed and maybe later migrate to Shamir once they are comfortable and have an understanding about it.

No alt-coin wallets support Shamir. Most support BIP39 already.

If your shopping T, don’t forget to enable `sd-protect`. Best feature on Trezor-T
