Ich habe meinen trezor seit 3-4 Jahren nicht mehr benutzt, hauptsächlich weil ich Angst hatte, ihn mit irgendetwas online zu verbinden oder ihn überhaupt zu benutzen. Wie auch immer, ich habe eine 4-stellige PIN, aber die Firmware ist veraltet. Gibt es IRGENDEINE Möglichkeit, wie ich an das Gerät herankommen kann, ohne es zu aktualisieren? Ich habe einen alten Mac mit Trezor Suite von vor 3-4 Jahren, das war das, was ich zuletzt zum Einloggen benutzt habe. Ich frage mich also, ob ich ihn reparieren lassen kann und er den trezor erkennt. Ich kenne mich mit den Feinheiten von Kryptowährungen und Cold Wallets nicht so gut aus und hatte ehrlich gesagt das Gefühl, dass ich die Gelder in eine neue Wallet verschieben sollte (neuer Trezor und neuer Seed), als ich vor ein paar Jahren die Chance dazu hatte, aber ich hoffe jetzt einfach auf einen Workaround.

One thing everyone forgot to mention: DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM ANYONE WHO DMs YOU..

There be fuckers messaging you right now to tell you that you can grab an older version of the wallet software at some link they give you or whatever.

In fact, don’t engage with anyone who DMs you about this thread in any way at all. They are all going to rob you. Take it slow, talk to official Trezor support (yes it takes weeks to get a reply) but whatever you do, don’t let anyone scam you 🙏

If you have lost your seed, you must transfer your coins to a new wallet. If you do not, you are risking loss.

After the coins have been transferred out of the Trezor, you can update it, make a new wallet, and then send the coins back.

If all you have is BTC then just use your device with Electrum. (Just follow the info on the Trezor wiki)

Once that is done, you can use the device with Electron-Cash to claim your BCH. (Just send a small amount of BCH to the wallet and then send it all out, this will split the BCH from BSV)

Depending on whether it is worth your time, you can also repeat the process with ElectrumSV to claim the BSV.

If your BTC was stored before the BCH fork, you have BCH and BSV forks to collect as well. Depending on how much BTC you have, it may or may not be worth it to pursue a known hardware hack. It’s expensive and not easy but is possible to recover your seed phrase from the hardware alone. I saw a documentary about it on Reddit a few months ago.

Should be possible, if you get a matching version of the software on your PC that can work with the old firmware. I’d check if they have an archive of old versions to download.
