Ich habe einen Ledger Nano S und es gibt ein Problem mit dem PIN-Code. Es erkennt den Pin nicht und jedes Mal, wenn ich es benutze, muss ich den Pin 3 Mal versuchen und dann das Gerät mit den 24 Wörtern zurücksetzen (ja, ich habe die Wörter nur auf das Gerät geschrieben, nicht auf den Computer oder irgendwo anders). So wurde es ein bisschen mühsam, es zu benutzen. Da ich ein Hodler bin und nicht vorhabe, in nächster Zeit zu verkaufen, brauche ich es sowieso nicht wirklich… jedes Mal, wenn ich eine Überweisung erhalte, verwende ich die Ledger-App, die mir eine Adresse gibt. Es wird empfohlen, die Adresse zu verifizieren, aber das tue ich nicht. Und sowohl mobile als auch Desktop-Apps zeigen die gleiche Menge an Bitcoin in meiner Wallet an. Ist die Empfehlung, die Adresse zu verifizieren, also nur eine Möglichkeit, dem Benutzer Sicherheit zu geben, oder besteht die berechtigte Sorge, dass die BTC woanders hingeschickt werden könnten? Ya this is not working as intended. You should not have to do all these resets. Good thing you have your seed phrase handy and that it does work to reset it..but if the pin is not working as needed, you could do a test.. just use 1234 as a test.. if it refuses to take that pin.. reset one more time using a better pin sequence (not 1234) and make sure all is good for your amounts.
Order a new ledger Nano S Plus and enter in your old seed phrase with the pin you desire and you are good. The verifying of the address is a good idea, but you can check the address before and after the copy/paste, if they are the same.. use the address. Its good.
IF the address is changed after the paste, you most likely have been exposed to a paper clip exploit.
DO NOT reply to any DM’s that say they can help. They can not. Scammer.

Did you set up a passphrase? Maybe you’re using multiple passphrases. If you pin the passphrase to a pin code, then you have two pincodes on the device, and if you pin another passphrase, the old pin goes away.
Otherwise its definately defective.
You can reuse the same address without confirming a new one, but that reduces privacy over the lon term.
The better way would be to export a dozen adresses and paste them into a notepad and use those without logging on to your device

Hey, indeed we always recommend to always verify the address on your Ledger device. The reason is that the Ledger device shows you always the true address, but sometimes if the PC/Phone has malware on it, it can show you the address changed to the one of the scammer rather than yours.

That is not how that should work.
Sounds defective.
Pick up a new Nano S Plus, the old Nano S has reached it’s end of life anyway.
That said, you don’t HAVE to verify the address if you know it’s correct BUT its an extra check to make sure you don’t have malware/viruses that can manipulate that during a copy and paste or something similar.
