If you ad the trezor to MM you create a new wallet with a new private key with your trezor. You can still use the old wallets on MM. Only the new added wallet you created with trezor is secured with trezor.

I hope this is the answer you were looking for?

Trezor isn’t a magic box that you plug into a wallet for “additional protection”.

Trezor is a _wallet_ with **its own address**. When you add it to Metamask, you will have two accounts, one on Trezor that is secured by Trezor, and another, the old one, on Metamask, that is still exactly as (in)secure as it was before.

(you _could_ import your Metamask seed into Trezor and get the same address from Trezor …. but that _doesn’t secure the Metamask account_. The Metamask account is still as much in Metamask as it was before and still exactly as (in)secure as it was before. Except now you have a _copy_ of the insecure account in Trezor too. Don’t do this.)

Sweet Jesus no, why would you do that??? The whole point of a HW wallet is to have the seeds generated off line.

You can keep the old wallet and you can create a new wallet with your Trezor. You can send funds from this old wallet to your new wallet. Leave a bit of ETH in the old wallet so it can claim any rewards.

Also, you need to read up on DeFi. Even with a HW wallet, if you are not comfortable with what you’re doing, it’s easy to get scammed, click on a dodgy link, etc.

No that will defeat the purpose of your trezor, just make a new wallet, and when you get your airdrop on your old defi addres, just send them to your new trezor wallet.
