Ich habe vor kurzem XRP an meinen Ledger gesendet und obwohl es auf Bithomp als an meine Ledger-Wallet-Adresse gehend registriert wurde, wird es nicht im XRP Ledger Live angezeigt, bis Sie die Xumm-App herunterladen und aktivieren. Um es zu aktivieren, müssen Sie Ihre Ledger-Seed-Phrase in die Xumm-App eingeben, um ein Konto zu erstellen, und 10 XRP kaufen, um das Konto auf Bithomp zu aktivieren, und dann erscheint es vermutlich auf Ledger Live. Online-Checks zeigen, dass die Xumm-App von XRPLabs hergestellt wird und legal ist. Meine Sorge ist, wenn ich meine Ledger-Seed-Phrase in die Xumm-App eingebe – verliere ich dann all meine Kryptowährung?

Firstly do NOT put your Ledger seed into any online wallet. That compromises all your security and if someone gets it, they can access all your crypto and it makes your Ledger useless anyway because it turns it into a hot wallet. You can store Xrp on Ledger, you don’t need Xumm wallet. Just “add account” on Ledger Live to get an xrp address etc.

What are you doing? None of this sounds right. Use ledger for your XRP or use XUMM. These do not cross over to each other. Be careful. Do not ever enter your ledger seed anywhere.

First and foremost, you should **NEVER** enter your 24 word recovery phrase into any sort of digital application or 3rd party wallet, this will expose your recovery phrase to the internet and effectively turn your Ledger from a cold wallet to a hot wallet, no different than any other software wallet.

I also wanted to point out, you can always use your Ledger with the XRPtoolkit and connect your Ledger as a hardware wallet, and then secure all of your XRP-related assets from there, securely using your Ledger.
