Liebe Community,

Das letzte Mal, dass ich Ethereum gekauft habe, war in den Jahren 2017-2018 und habe es in meinem Ledger auf einer “Legacy”-Adresse gespeichert. In der Zwischenzeit ist Ethereum von PoW zu PoS übergegangen. Kann ich das Ethereum von Coinbase (das im Grunde Ethereum 2.0 ist) an meine alte Ethereum-Adresse senden, die ich während der “Ethereum 1.0”-Tage verwendet habe?

Yep, no change occurred on adresses between PoW and PoS.

Should be totally fine as long as you still have control of the private keys to your old address. Send yourself a small test transaction first to make sure you have everything set up correctly.

ETH changing from POW to POS had zero impact on wallets and your ability to transfer between them.

Yes, the addresses have not changed. As always, just make sure you send it to the correct address using the correct platform/chain. Coinbase to a Ledger Eth address should be no big deal.
