Nach der Lektüre der KeepKey (KK)-Veröffentlichungen über Bitcoin Cash (BCH) klingt es so, als ob der aktuelle KK-Beta-Client dazu gedacht ist, BCH anzuzeigen, die aus der Abspaltung resultieren, wenn Sie vor der Abspaltung Bitcoin in Ihrem KK hatten. Außerdem scheint es, dass Schritt 4 des KK-BCH-Updates für den KK-Beta-Client es Ihnen ermöglicht, diese BCH vom KK aus zu senden.

Mir ist jedoch nicht klar, ob der KK-Beta-Client dem KK erlaubt, BCH zu empfangen, und wenn nicht, ob Schritt 4 des KK-BCH-Updates für den KK-Beta-Client die BCH-Empfangsfunktionalität aktivieren wird.

From a technical standpoint, step 4 includes 2 things: a firmware update to sign BCH transactions and full implementation of BCH accounts. You will be able to set up BCHs account to send, receive, generate addresses and view transaction listings.

So after step #4, BCH will be a fully functioning currency on KeepKey. You will work the same as all of the other currencies.

Step #5 will be to move the code to production once we are sure that everything works as expected.

As far as receiving BCH now, it will work to use a BTC address from a BTC account, but I don’t recommend it. The risk is that do this can cause you to violate the BIP44 address gap rules. This means that standard BIP wallets won’t always find all of your transactions. If you absolutely need to receive BCH to your KeepKey now, I would create a new BTC account for only that purpose, then move it to a BCH account once they are supported.

Yes. I’ve just successfully sent Bitcoin Cash into my regular Bitcoin address on keepkey, and yes it updates the balance even though I can’t send them anywhere.
