Kann man BNB direkt auf dem Trezor speichern?

Hallo!

So wie ich das verstehe, brauchst du eine Metamaske, verbindest sie mit deinem trezor-Gerät und kannst dann irgendwie bnb auf deinem trezor speichern/senden, indem du einen ETH-Account, d.h. eine ETH-Empfangsadresse verwendest – ist das korrekt? Wenn ja, dann hätte ich folgende Fragen:

1.) Ist Metamask eine Art Software von Drittanbietern, die sich mit Hardwallets verbinden kann, ähnlich wie z.B. MyEtherWallet, das in der Vergangenheit häufig verwendet wurde, um ETH “indirekt” auf der trezor zu speichern, bevor es möglich war, sie direkt auf der trezor zu speichern?

2.) Hat sich in der Zwischenzeit etwas in der Hinsicht geändert, dass es jetzt möglich ist, BNB direkt auf der trezor-Wallet zu speichern, ohne eine Metamaske zu benötigen? Oder gibt es Pläne, es in Zukunft irgendwie möglich zu machen, BNB zu kaufen/tauschen und BNB direkt in/auf trezor zu speichern/senden?

Ich bin für jede Hilfe in diesen Fragen dankbar – danke 🙂

Hi!
There is actually no “direct” or “indirect” storing. BNB is simply supported by Trezor, although only BNB as an ERC20 token can be used in the Trezor Suite app if that is what you meant with the “direct” storing.

For using BNB on a different network, you can connect your Trezor to Metamask, for instance. Therefore:
1. Yes.
2. Only BNB ERC20 token can be used in Trezor Suite. However, using Metamask with your Trezor does not mean that the coins are not protected by Trezor directly. Metamask (same as Trezor Suite) is just an application that provides an interface in which you interact with your coins. Your Trezor device matters, as that is where your private keys are stored.

1.) yes, in layman’s terms, metamask is there just to show your trezor’s BNB balance, your trezor is the one that signs transactions, metamask is just UI of sorts. I never tried using metamask for BNB, though. But you will need to add BNB’s network to your metamask if you plan on using Binance smart chain [BEP20]. (I assume that you’re talking about BEP20 token standard, and not BEP2) as BEP20 uses Eth address format. If you want to use BEP2 tokens, i believe you’ll have to use [Binance’s wallet](https://www.bnbchain.org/en/unlock) and not metamask. Someone correct me if i’m wrong, i don’t use metamask for anything other than Polygon and Ethereum.

2.) Not that i know of, mods might be able to answer that question, as it seems the question was already indirectly pointed at them.
