Ich habe also eine Wallet geöffnet und eine Adresse erhalten. Ich kopierte die Adresse und fügte sie in einen Notizblock ein.
Um mich mit dem Wiederherstellungsprozess vertraut zu machen, löschte ich den Trezor, formatierte ihn neu und setzte ihn auf die Werkseinstellungen zurück. Ich schloss ihn wieder an und durchlief die erweiterte Wiederherstellung.

Nachdem ich die Wallet geöffnet hatte, kopierte ich die Adresse und fügte sie ein, um sicherzustellen, dass es dieselbe Adresse war. Aus irgendeinem Grund stimmten die Adressen nicht überein.

Liegt das daran, dass sich kein Guthaben in der Wallet befand?
Liegt es daran, dass ich nach der Wiederherstellung einen anderen Passcode eingegeben habe?

Ich dachte, die Adresse wäre immer noch dieselbe.

This is what I do whenever I generate a new seed phrase.

1. Generate seed phrase
2. Transfer a small amount of bitcoin to the wallet
3. Create a passphrase wallet and transfer a small amount of bitcoin to the wallet
4. Wipe the device
5. Restore your seed phrase
6. Check to see if Trezor Suite shows your funds for both your normal wallet and passphrase wallet
7. Transfer out the funds from both of the wallets
8. If this works, then you’re good to go!

You can still use old addresses to receive crypto, but your Wallet will generate a new address each time for privacy and security reasons. Also, if you made a different Passphrase you are in fact dealing with different Wallets, and your initial address only applies to the Wallet that generated it.

Wow.. bad advice.

OK, I wouldn’t burn $50 doing “test transactions”, simply look at the xpub or enable account labeling. Both of which will only recover if your account recovers.

Addresses are ephemeral. Unless you get technical you are going to have problems reproducing.

XPUB also moves based on the account type. For example Bitcoin, has four XPUBs per account, and the potential to have billions of accounts per seed.

Obviously the easiest would just be to employ labeling. Easiest way by far.
