Most people questioning the security to this extent hardly understand how a wallet works or how to even properly utilize one. It’s sorta crazy to think ledger needs to do more when the people with these issues couldn’t do the basics.

Ledger literally has an in house white hat hacker team (Donjon) who tests for vulnerabilities. also, ledger doesnt “hold” any customers assets.

But in case anybody is actually concerned the seed is not created until the user creates the seed, using the private element built inside.

The private element is what creates and holds the seed. It tells the user the seed word by word once. With the instructions are to write this down.
You can check your seed with the Recovery check app but the private key the mnemonic phrase will never leave the private element.
