Ledger Live akzeptiert plötzlich kein PW mehr auf dem PC

Plötzlich kann ich mich auf einem PC nicht mehr bei Ledger Live anmelden, da ich das Passwort für LL auf diesem PC immer aktiviert hatte. Ich hatte nie ein Problem mit dem PW, bis heute, wo die Fehlermeldung sagt “falsches Passwort”.

Ich zögere, alles zu löschen und neu zu installieren, da ich gezwungen sein könnte, Ledger Live zu aktualisieren, was ich im Moment nicht tun möchte.

Ledger isn’t in the business to try to get you to update your firmware either you do or don’t. If you’re that paranoid use another wallet. With that said it is obvious user error something you are entering or not.

If you are a ‘I’ll never update’ kinda guy, you don’t need to install Ledger Live anyway. Just use your Ledger with Metamask, Electrum etc…

If for some reason the cached data folder of LL gets corrupted or deleted, your oasswordwill cease to work.

Just create a new password, and “add” all the ledger accounts you had.

Personally a never set a pw to my LL because it us in fact useless , unless you share your computer login with someone else.

Sorry to hear about the issue with the wrong password. I can assure you there is no intent from Ledger to force you to update.

If you reset your Ledger Live (due to wrong password), you can add back all your accounts back with the Ledger device.

Just try to re enter the password a few times and see if perhaps the change in keystrokes changed anything.

Also u can uninstall and reinstall no problem no effect on funds.

The thing that matter is ur recovery phrase being safe and having your ledger to plug in after you reinstall ; so you can add ur accounts back again
