Gast::***These are some great questions:***
Each time you generate a new address, this would increment the final index of your derivation path a single digit. For example, a fresh BTC Legacy address in Ledger Live (aka the first address) would be „44’/0’/0’/0/0“. The second address would be „44’/0’/0’/0/1“. The third address would be „44’/0’/0’/0/2“.
You are correct when you say each Ledger (and recovery phrase) is associated with only one xpub, which then can have multiple BTC addresses. Xpubs are not shuffled in this way, however your addresses created (and composing the xpub) are likely to change as you continue to add new accounts/addresses, and use the derivation path originating from your private key (aka the 24 word recovery phrase).
If you’re using a Ledger device, the best way to reconcile or aggregate balances would be to go into Ledger Live and make sure you add any bitcoin accounts associated with your Ledger device. This should allow you to pull up any accounts/addresses that were ever created with the device, and display them in a single user interface, where you can see your aggregated balance in the portfolio tab!
Additionally, if you ever feel as though your portfolio isn’t updating the balance, you can force a synchronization between your balances and the blockchain(s) by clearing your cache („settings“ > „help“ > „clear cache“ > „confirm“).

Gast::I have a Solution for you:
Export Xpub adress from Ledger, after this you need to convert it to zpub (mainnet P2WPKH)
https://jlopp.github.io/xpub-converter/
After this you put the converted addres into Satpile app or other Xpub explorer!
You should now see the correct amount that is on your ledger!

Gast::I would recommend matching your balance against Electrum, which supports Ledger as a hardware wallet
That being said, I am sure each derivation path (wallet? in Ledger Liver terminology) is one specific xpub. That means if you add multiple wallets to Ledger Live you actually have multiple xpub
