Hallo zusammen,

Ich habe einige USDT auf Binance, die depeg Situation & Probleme mit Börsen machen mir Angst.
Ich bin nicht sicher, ob EIP-4337/ERC-4337 smart wallet behebt das Sicherheitsproblem und macht Ledger obsolet.
Irgendwelche Eingaben/Gedanken zu diesem Thema?

Ich möchte meine Münzen sicher aufbewahren und frage mich, ob ich Kryptowährungen über Ledger tauschen/handeln kann, falls ich meine Münzen tauschen muss.

I don’t see why it could do that. ledger is just a way to keep your seed / private keys safe from any leaking risk.

EIP 4337 was hyped a lot, but it’s basically just an interoperable transaction relayer for smart wallets (your account lives inside a smart contract), which have been around since 2018.

Smart wallets let you choose the way you authenticate to your account – you can get a good protection of the secret used to do that nowadays (typically by using Webauthn), but you still get no protection against malware, which means that a smart wallet can let you sign something you didn’t intend to sign – thus hardware wallets are still pretty much necessary
