Ich dachte mir, dass ich das in diesem Unterforum fragen muss, weil ich keine Antwort auf diese Nischenfrage finden konnte. Ziemlich dumm, ich weiß. Das Mikro-USB-Ende des Geräts tauchte für ein paar Stunden in etwas Haargel ein, bevor ich es bemerkte. Ich habe es gereinigt, indem ich das Gel ausgeblasen und es dann mit einem Papiertuch abgetrocknet habe. Ist es danach noch sicher zu benutzen?

Best bet would be cleaning it with Isopropyl Alcohol and allow it to dry completely before using it.

If you’re concerned, just toss it away. I feel like there are just so many of these cables lying around, why use one that you worry could damage your device!

To answer your question, it should still work . But I’d advise against using a compromised cable. Especially after having a liquid in there that is likely to have left a residue. Last thing you want is to short your device over a 2$ replaceable cable
