Ich habe meinen Nano X mit meiner Metamask-Wiederherstellungsphrase eingerichtet. Ich möchte meinen Nano X mit meinen bestehenden Metamask-Konten auf meinem iPhone verbinden können. Wenn ich versuche, die Hardware-Wallet auf Metamask zu verbinden, heißt es: “Connect a QR-based hardware wallet”. 1. You can’t connect an existing wallet to the ledger, only import it as a wallet with a separate memotic phrase, which is generated by ladger.

2. You can’t use metamask integration with the phone yet.

By reading what you write you have little understanding of how a ledger works. This may result in future loss of funds.

Dont add your Metamask seed phrase to your Ledger wallet, that brings along risk from a potentially compromised wallet. Instead, keep your 24-word Ledger wallet seed phrase, add a “hardware device” account in Metamask, and secure your assets in that Ledger protected account. If your Metamask for any reason is compromised, your stuff will be safe.

Let’s say you signed a malicious contract or hidden infinite permissions were given during a malicious interaction with a scammer, having your Metamask wallet in your Ledger wont protect your assets, as the malicious potential is attached to that wallet and/or those accounts, all of which do not require interaction with the Ledger device to approve a transaction. Only the “hardware device” account in Metamask is designed to interact with the Ledger or other hardware device for transaction approval.
