Jedes Mal, wenn ich eine Frage zu Crypto stelle, weiß ich, dass ich 25 Betrugs-DMs bekommen werde, aber jetzt geht’s trotzdem los!

Heute musste ich meinen nano x zurücksetzen, da ich meine PIN-Nummer mit einem anderen Gerät verwechselt hatte.

Also habe ich die Schritte zum Zurücksetzen des Geräts befolgt, wozu auch die Eingabe meiner Schlüsselwörter gehörte.

Jetzt versuche ich, ein bisschen BTC über die Ledger Live-App zu verkaufen, aber ich muss mich mit dem Gerät verbinden, um es zu beenden. Aber wenn ich meinen neuen Pin auf dem Gerät eingebe, gibt es dort nichts mehr außer zwei Optionen: “App installieren” und “Kontrollzentrum”.

Aber mit beiden kann ich nichts anfangen. Ich weiß nicht, wie ich die Wiederherstellung abschließen kann.

Außerdem bin ich auf meinem Telefon bei Ledger Live angemeldet, aber ich erinnere mich nicht an das Passwort. Ich habe versucht, das Passwort in der App auf meinem Computer zurückzusetzen, aber sie haben mir nie den Wiederherstellungslink geschickt, und es ist schon eine Stunde her. Ich habe ein Ticket eröffnet, aber es ist schon eine Stunde her, dass ich eine Antwort erhalten habe.

Ich könnte ein wenig Hilfe gebrauchen. Ich versuche zum ersten Mal, Kryptowährungen gegen andere Währungen zu tauschen, und ich kann diese einfache Aufgabe nicht lösen.

your ledger device only contains one thing: your 24-word recovery / seed phrase.

So when you reset it, the seed gets erased, and you need to re-enter it (from your recovery sheet or wherever your stored your seed phrase backup). This is done in the ledger setup, by selecting “recover with existing seed phrase” on the device itself. The 24-0words must be re-entered on the ledger device itself, and nowhere else.

Once you have re-entered your 24-word recovery seed phrase in your ledger, your ledger becomes just as it was before (the unlocking PIN can be different, but that does not matter). Your ledger will give you back access to all your cryptos on your various accounts. You will have to re-install the various apps for managing the various blockchains that you were using, and this can be done with Ledger Live > My Device.

It is recommended to update Ledger Live so that you have the latest version, as well as the latest version of each ledger app.

go to “my ledger” tab, install apps there, then, “+ add account” – that will get your accounts back.

Regarding the password thing, simply bypass it, by pressing the little “x” in the top right hand corner of the login box to exit out of it. Should be able to use Ledger Live just fine after that.

Hey,

It is normal that you can’t see any apps after your Ledger Nano X gets reset. When the device gets reset, all the apps are uninstalled. You can simply install the apps back in the My Ledger section of Ledger Live. We explain it in more detail [here](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404382258961-Install-uninstall-and-update-apps).

Regarding your Ledger Live password. In fact, there is no recovery feature for the password of Ledger Live (lock). This password is stored locally on your PC and if you forgot it, you’d need to reset Ledger Live. After that, you will get an empty Ledger Live but if you have your Ledger device in possession, you should be able to [add all accounts](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404389482641-Add-your-accounts) back.
