Ich habe vor kurzem meine Ledger, endlich mit meinem Kopf und gehen kalten Lagerung.

Ich habe es noch nicht eingerichtet, da ich auch auf die Ankunft meines Stahlsamen-Satzes warte. Aber ich hatte ein oder zwei Fragen zu stellen.

Ich habe immer klug genug, um meine Münzen aus Börsen zu bekommen, alle meine Münzen im Grunde existieren in einem Sortiment heiße Wallets (meist Kette spezifische, Kepler, Eternl, etc..) ein paar auf Coinbase Wallet (Coti nicht zulassen, dass US-Benutzer, um ihre offizielle Wallet 😠 verwenden)

Werde ich in der Lage sein, diese Wallets einfach an meinen Ledger zu binden? Anstatt Gasgebühren zu bezahlen, um Dinge zu verschieben oder neue Wallets einzurichten, wird es so einfach sein, sie auf irgendeine Weise zu binden?

Und wenn diese Hot-Wallet-Seed-Phrasen kompromittiert werden, sind meine Münzen dann immer noch sicher, da ich diese Wallets jetzt über meinen Ledger geschützt habe?

Don’t really see an answer so I’ll add mine,

You will have to unstake undelegate and move the assets to your new ledger addresses once it is set up then restake redelegate them form eather ledger live or by linking the ledger to the hot wallet.

Linking the ledger to a hot wallet does not secure the hot wallet it just lets the addresses protected by the ledger access to the dapp functions of the hot wallet. That could be argued it lessons the security of the ledger.

move everything to your ledger otherwise you do not own the keys 🔐
never connect your wallet to sites you are not 100% sure about because there are a ton of scams trying to get you to slip up and steal your hard earned money. adjust the settings in your application to slower TRX speeds to save money on processing fees.

You can’t add addresses to a recovery phrase, meaning you need to move the coins/tokens to the addresses derived from the recovery phrase of your Ledger.

No, you can only use one seed phrase on the Ledger.

Dumb question, but I keep hearing about people getting their seed phrases engraved in steel but aren’t you just giving your seed phrase to whatever company is engraving the steel plates for you?

Hey, to clarify a bit, the purpose of a Ledger device is to generate your 24 words recovery phrase on spot where only you can see them, and they wouldn’t be generated online. Ledger Live on the other hand is our interface.

So if you get a Ledger device, you would need to set it up using the best practice, meaning:

setup PIN
– generate 24 words recovery phrase from device – establish a genuine connection with Ledger Live installed directly from our official site [https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live/download](https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live/download)

Then you install apps from your “My Ledger” tab and add accounts for them (example: BTC, ETH etc..) so that you would be able to generate your receiving address for the coin you want to receive, and you send a transaction from hot wallet accounts to Ledger protected accounts! To answer your question, no, there is no way to bind them, you will need to transfer funds on chain from coinbase accounts to Ledger protected accounts! I hope this better clarifies
