Hallo,

Neues Mitglied, also los geht’s: Ich habe ein nano-x mit seed phrase. fügte Konten hinzu, die öffentliche Adressen gaben. benutzte sie, um einige Testbeträge von einer Börse zu übertragen. Ich bin dabei, eines dieser Metallphrasen-Backup-Geräte zu erstellen. Ich habe auch einen nano s plus gekauft, den ich mit der gleichen Phrase wie den nano-x aktiviert(?) habe. Aber unterschiedliche öffentliche Adressen für das gleiche Konto?

Mein ursprünglicher Plan war es, den nano x als Hauptwallet zu verwenden und den s plus als Backup der Kryptowährung sicher aufzubewahren. Liege ich richtig, dass beide für den Zugriff auf die Kryptowährung verwendet werden können?

Jetzt bin ich verwirrt… also erstellt das Gerät eine gerätespezifische physikalische Adresse? klingt etwas verwirrend… bitte lassen Sie es mich wissen.

If you’re using BTC, your address will change very time you make a transaction. [Here’s a list of guides](https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/yui384/crypto_wallets_how_they_work_and_how_to_safely/) on backing up and restoring. To test and make sure that your seed phrase is backed up correctly, try a different coin where the address doesn’t change after you make a transaction.

Make sure you’re using same Seed phrase and that you didn’t make any mistake while you’re entering existing seed-phrase in your new Nano under option Recover account by existing seed-phrase.

Having said that, BTC generates new address for every new transactions. Cardano also generates new address for every new transaction I’d you’re using your Ledger Nano via Cardano Daedalus, Eternl Wallet or Yoroi.

But you’re existing accounts with funds should normally show but on your balance sheet via Ledger Live or the third-party wallet being using.

Please make you restored your existing seed-phrase correctly in the new Ledger Nano you’re using as a backup.

However, for some cryptos, the receiving address changes for privacy reasons. ers set up with the same seed phrase, they will hold the same private keys and generate the same addresses.
