Polygon Wallet Adresse gleich wie Ethereum?

Anfang des Jahres, bevor Coinbase das native Polygon-Netzwerk unterstützte, schickte ich etwas Polygon an meinen Ledger und musste es von ETH zu Polygon überbrücken.

Heute habe ich gerade versucht, etwas mehr von Coinbase zu senden, aber ich habe bemerkt, dass meine Polygon-Adresse genau die gleiche ist wie meine ETH-Wallet. Ist das ungewöhnlich?

This is perfectly normal. Most EVM networks use the same derivation path and consequently have the same public key/wallet address

It’ll show up as a separate asset in ledger live if you sent it over polygon network. For instance , if you send some matic over ethereum, it’ll show under your eth account. If you sent it to the same address over polygon, it’ll show as a separate matic token in your accounts. I intentionally marked my matic on polygon in ledger with (send over polygon) if I needed some on that network instead of eth

It would be unusual if they **weren’t** the same. Polygon is EVM-compatible. I’d expect Polygon and Ethereum to have the same address.

It is the same, Just the Chain changes… FYI, The Binance Smart Chain uses the same address as ETH, So this is not a new thing, You are safe
