Hallo zusammen,

Ich bin irgendwie neu bei der Verwendung von Ledger… und habe gerade eine Frage, die ich hoffte, ich könnte geklärt haben.

Offensichtlich habe ich aufgeschrieben und ordnungsgemäß gesichert mein Saatgut Phrase zu meinem Ledger …

Aber ich bin neugierig… Sollte ich auch meine privaten Schlüssel aufschreiben und sichern?

Nach meinem Verständnis ist die Seed-Phrase ein Hauptschlüssel für alle privaten Schlüssel in meinem Ledger… und jede einzelne Wallet hat einen privaten Schlüssel.

Fragen:

1. Sollte ich meine privaten Schlüssel aufschreiben und sichern? Wenn ja, bin ich mir nicht sicher, wo ich das finden kann. Oder ist das einfach nicht wichtig?
2. Verstehe ich das richtig, dass es hypothetisch gesehen in Ordnung ist, wenn ein Wallet-Unternehmen pleite geht, weil diese SEED-Phrasen auf anderen Wallets verwendet werden können, um sich zu erholen, da es sich um ein universelles System handelt?

Vielen Dank im Voraus, ich weiß das zu schätzen. Ich habe gerade gemischte Dinge über die privaten Schlüssel gelesen und hoffe auf eine Klärung.

Your Seed Words are in fact your Private Key in human readable form. Any Crypto stored using your Ledger Device is using your Ledger private key for transactions. Yes your Seed Words can be used in any Wallet that supports BIP39.

The ledger does not give you access to the private keys of each individual account (they are calculated inside the ledger, when needed, from your seed phrase, but they never leave the ledger device).

The only thing that you need to securely backup is your recovery / seed phrase.

There are so many tools out there that will convert your 24 words into private key.

Dude. Those seeds words are your private key. It’s the same thing.

Just that you’re a human, so it’s much easier to convert your private key into human English words so that it makes sense to you.

Now you are going to be contacted by a never ending amount of scammers all pretending to be from admin, they will ask you for those seed words.

What are you going to say to them??? !!!!!!!”NO”!!!!!!!!!

You never never never tell anyone what those seed words are, you write them down on paper and you keep them off of the internet or any other digital devices.

Your seed words = your private key.

Your Private Key = Your Cryptocurrency.

The seed words are all that you need. Don’t use the private key. It doesn’t do what you think it does and you will get into trouble very quickly.

Your wallet doesn’t have a single private key. It uses the 24 seed words to generate public/private key pairs for every wallet on every blockchain that you interact with.
