Polygon is a chain running on ETH chain. That’s why it’s called Layer 2. We can consider it’s safe but nothing is %100 safe in whole blockchain ecosystem.

It will stay as USDC and it can be deposited back to Binance or any other exchange with using USDC Deposit option on Polygon chain if that’s supported. Not all exchanges support all chains.

You can consider it safe yes, only make sure to always have your 24-word recovery phrase secured, all your account addresses are derived from it.

They will hold the same value only the contract address will be different. If you transfer the USDC using the Polygon network they will live on the Polygon blockchain.
