      Danke!

We do see this from time to time with DOGE transactions when the network experiences sudden spikes in volume. In some cases, if the average network transaction fees go way up before Ledger Live has a chance to sync – or if there is any kind of network slowdown on the user’s end that could cause a delay – transactions broadcasted below the average threshold could get stuck as pending in our node.

You can check if your transaction is stuck in our DOGE node by copying the transaction ID and looking it up on a DOGE block explorer ([blockchair.com](https://blockchair.com) is a good one to use). If the transaction does not show up when looking it up, it most likely means it’s stuck and was never broadcasted to the network.

The go-to way to deal with this for other chains such as BTC or LTC is to connect your Ledger to a 3rd party Ledger-compatible wallet such as Electrum, then rebroadcast the transaction with higher fees from there.

DOGE is tricky though because there are currently no 3rd party DOGE wallets compatible with Ledger to connect to. In most cases, the only thing that can be done is to wait a few days for the transaction to naturally drop off on its own. The DOGE involved in the transaction will then be automatically credited back to your account.

When sending DOGE (especially during periods of high network volatility), it’s always a good idea to select the “high” fees option, which will normally help to avoid this. I hope this is helpful!
