Hallo Leute,

In den letzten 2 Jahren habe ich auf Coinbase kaufen und senden über durch Trezor jedoch würde ich aufhören, die Transfergebühren zu verlieren

Like the person above said, it’s a form a security! To put it simpel, you tell coinbase that you „trust“ a certain address (your BTC wallet) to be valid. Coinbase then puts it on a „whitelist“, meaning that this address is saved as a preset so you don’t have to copy/paste it everytime.

If(!) you get hacked, the hacker wants to send coins to a different address (theirs…) BUT they can’t do that within the first 48 hours after they use a different address which is not whitelisted yet.

Are you asking if is possible to buy/sell crypto without transaction fees? No.

Buying „outside“ and send it over is definitely cheaper. As you already used coinbase numerous times, I don’t see the security issue you mentioned.
