Trezor sollte seine (Preis-)Politik überdenken

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Trezor, aber ich denke, sie sollten ihre Preispolitik überdenken – Trezor sollte ein neues “cooles” Modell (shamir, passphrase) zu wettbewerbsfähigen Preisen anbieten.

Ein Modell mit Shamir und Passphrase zum Preis von $99 wäre für mich ein Gamechanger auf dem Markt.

Es gibt viele neue und modernere HW-Geldbörsen auf dem Markt, mit einem Preisschild um $50. Ein Preis von $259 für ein ein paar Jahre altes Gerät (obwohl es technisch stark und mehr als ausreichend ist) führt dazu, dass der Marktanteil von einem anderen renommierten Unternehmen im aktuellen Wettbewerbsumfeld übernommen wird. Und als Fan von Trezor macht mich das traurig.

I agree and disagree. Is true is a bit overpriced, but they are trustworthy and is open source.

They’ve developed the brand, trust, and customer loyalty to justify the higher price.

That being said, if the free market decides it’s too expensive, people stop buying, and Trezor will be forced to drop the price.

As long as people pay, the price will remain.

price is fine as long it supports coins and more functionality such as staking some popular coins but from what I am hearing that sucks right now

I Do agree, there should be a Mid wallet, that supports the model T altcoins and maybe the Shamir… and keep the T with el BT and SD card features…

I currently Own both, Ledger and Trezor. I would LOVE to only have a Trezor, but I hold ADA and BNB, but I will not pay that much for a Model T, So they “forced me” into buying a Ledger.

according to them today will start their black friday promo, so look at it.

I agree 250 is way too much for model t when ledger best hardware wallet is near 140 with shiping costs included.

hw wallets from several brands are also too expensive, coolcard wants 100+ for a calculator style basic hw wallet.
