Very worrying if an account of theirs is compromised and is serving support like this. I hope you haven’t replied. There must be an email to forward this to to let someone at Trezor know? Is there a support or ticket number for your case?

Scam, nobody should ask you for that, unless they want to steal everything you have in it. Be aware of it. DO NOT!! I Repeat… DO NOT GIVE TO ANYONE YOUR SEED PHRASE… You are welcome!

~~It’s phishing. They spoofed the mail headers. Trivial to do. Click the little drop-down menu under “Trezor Support” and look at the fields:~~

      from:
      mailed-by:
      signed-by:
      security:

      ~~That should expose the spammer.~~

As soon as my Trezor arrived I began getting SPAM phishing emails. Beware. Beware. Emphasis on Beware.

Anyone saying watch out for Trezor now is a freaking IDIOT. 😂

You treat this just like any other scam email etc, don’t give ANYONE your seed, and use your device properly… And you’ll have ZERO to worry about. Your stack is still safe and sound. A hacked email has zero to do with the safety of your device, but your common sense always will. Just don’t be a moron and follow the basic safety rules with your stuff, period. #BTC 👍😂🪙😎

Please bear in mind that no one from the Trezor team would send you a private message first.

**No one from the Trezor team (Reddit mods, Support agents, etc) would ever ask for your recovery seed!**

Reading the mail again and it definitely reads very unprofessionally. Are you using an email with gmail or a private domain hosted somewhere. This reads like an intercepted mail.

Could also be ASCII-smililar signs, but not actual letters, but I am not sure those work as email accounts – this has been used to steal passwords from fake websites, where the hyperlink looks identical, but the ASCII signs are actually different. Interesting how it folds out.

This looks like just another fishing email. To not run into conclusions in regards to Trezor Support security, could you please check “who” this email was signed by?

Here’s how you do it within GMail interface:

And here you can check what’s really behind any of the emails you receive: [https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/znhnP9CuThWpLRt8BVexIw.png](https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/znhnP9CuThWpLRt8BVexIw.png)

You can check there if trezor.io address is among some crucial lines which contain auth endpoints and other RAW meta-data for the emails you receive.

Soon, almost every staff number will find a backdoor way to ask for your seed phrases.
