Hallo.
Ich habe mich entschieden, zu Trezor zu wechseln.
Da ich von Ledger und Safepal komme, bin ich an eine große Vielfalt an Münzunterstützung gewöhnt, die Trezor Suite nicht akzeptiert. Zwei Beispiele sind Avax und Op
Ich sehe, dass diese Münzen auf der Trezor-Website unterstützt werden, aber nicht durch Trezor Suite. Sie werden durch Hot Wallets von Drittanbietern unterstützt. Die wichtigste davon: Metamask.
Wie sicher ist es, meinen Trezor mit Metamask zu verbinden? Ich weiß, dass ich den von der Trezor erzeugten Seed nicht in die heiße Wallet eingeben darf. Worauf sollte ich sonst noch achten?

The thing to keep in mind with connecting a HW wallet to metamask is the the keys are kept safe on the Trezor and it only signs transactions. You still have the security of a hardware device provided you never share the seed anywhere.
However, you can potentially be tricked into signing a malicious transaction for a wallet drainer or something like that. Just be cautious of what transactions you approve. Be aware of airdrop/DAPP scams and the like.

Ensure you follow the manual’s (trezor.io/learn) advice on how to pair these. They should be paired cold, not HOT. To make them hot would be to share the seed-mnemonic which is discouraged.

Since they are paired cold, the 3rd party wallet can’t do anything but ask the Trezor to sign stuff. So long as you decode and understand what it signs, and approve it’s contents, then there is no risk, even running a fake metamask. Just enter, validate, check your seed-mnemonic. These are all attempts to learn your secrets.
