Hallo,

Ich habe heute einen neuen Ledger bekommen, da der Bildschirm meines ursprünglichen Ledgers durchgebrannt ist. Ich war in der Lage, meine ursprüngliche Phrase auf mein neues zu übertragen, aber ich frage mich, ob es eine Möglichkeit gibt, meine alten Adressen wie eth, btc und xrp auf mein neues Ledger zu kopieren? Oder muss ich nur meine neuen Adressen verwenden und meine Vermögenswerte an sie senden?

If you set up the new nano with the same seed phrase from your old one then your addresses will be exactly the same. If you have new addresses then you set it up as a new device and you generated a new seed phrase and you’ll need to send all assets from the old accounts to the new addresses.

If you input into the new ledger your original 24 word seed then you are done. Use it as usual.

Old Nano S displays are known to fail i.e. become dim or so dark they are unreadable.

The good thing is that they can get replaced easily. The replacement display costs about $4 on aliexpress. No special tools are needed, and there are video guides on youtube explaining how to replace it. make sure to get the 12-pin replacement display.

There are other, more expensive source in the US, do a search for Nano S replacement display on ebay etc.

Your new ledger, since it has the same seed phrase, will get access to all your old accounts at their old addresses. There is nothing to transfer or to copy. There are no new addresses. Everything remains as it was.

Then maybe Im having a metamask issue because I 100% used the original seed phrase when setting it up. When I go to approve transactions in metamask, and the window pops up to confirm the transaction, its always dimmed and wont let me accept. And yes my metamask account will be on “ledger” not account 1.
