**Szenario 1: Ich habe eine PIN eingerichtet und keine Passphrase**
1. Wenn jemand, Gott bewahre, Zugang zu meiner Seed-Phrase erhält, wird er dann in der Lage sein, auf meine Kryptowährung auf einer anderen Hardware-Wallet zuzugreifen, wenn er meine PIN nicht kennt?
2. Wenn ja, was ist der Sinn einer PIN?**Szenario 2: Ich habe eine PIN und 1 Passphrase eingerichtet**
1. Wenn jemand, Gott bewahre, Zugang zu meiner Seed-Phrase erhält, braucht er dann **beide** die PIN und meine Passphrase, um auf meine Kryptowährung zuzugreifen?
Mir ist klar, dass es keine gute Idee ist, eine digitale Kopie von Seed-Phrase, Passphrase und PIN zu speichern. Aber was ist mit diesem Szenario?
**Szenario 3: Speichern von Seed-Phrase, PIN und Passphrase auf einem Flash-Laufwerk**
1. Wenn ich auf meinem Laptop die Internetverbindung trenne, den Texteditor Notepad öffne, meine Seed-Phrase, PIN und Passphrase eingebe und diese Datei auf meinem Flash-Laufwerk speichere, wäre das in Ordnung? Wenn ich jemals wieder auf diese Datei zugreifen muss, würde ich zuerst die Internetverbindung trennen und dann das Flash-Laufwerk in meinen Computer einstecken.

Scenario 1 – 1. Yes. 2. PIN only protects the Device, the Seed Phrase is the important thing to protect. Scenario 2 – 1. They only need the Seed Phrase and the Passphrase , the PIN is only Device specific, they just need to enter the Seed Phrase and the Passphrase into any BIP39 Wallet. Scenario 3 – Never putting your Seed Phrase anywhere near a PC is a good idea, words written on paper or metal is the best security.

Yes, anyone with your seed can access your crypto, irrespective of whether you have a PIN.
The PIN stops someone who steals your hardware wallet from accessing your crypto (not bulletproof but at least gives you a window to move your crypto).
> **Scenario 2: I have a PIN and 1 Passphrase set up**
They don’t need your PIN, but they would need your passphrase (& seed)
> **Scenario 3: Storing Seed Phrase, PIN, and Passphrase On Flash Drive**
Never ***ever*** enter your seed onto any electronic device (except the Trezor itself). That’s always rule 1.
At some point you’ll forget to disconnect from the internet, and some malware could steal it, or someone will find your flash drive and steal it, or the flash drive will get lost or corrupted and you’ll no longer be able to access it yourself.
