The rest went back to your ledger wallet, but on a different address. That’s the way all UTXO coins work.

you always spend a full unspent transaction output. one portion goes to the receiver, the rest back to your wallet to a new change address.

That is the unspent change from your previous wallet input going back to a change address that is also part of your wallet. All completely normal for a UTXO-based cryptocurrency like BTC or Dogecoin.

That is your change. It is like when you pay something worth $3 with a $10 bill. You get back a $7 change.
