Angenommen, ich habe eine Raubkopie-Software heruntergeladen. Sie kann eine Malware enthalten, ok. Aber wie kann sie zu Ledger gehen und mich dazu bringen, die Transaktion zu bestätigen? Die einzige Möglichkeit ist, dass sie irgendwie eine andere Adresse bei Ledger anzeigt und ich bestätige.

Most malware will simply prompt you for your recovery seed. (And use some kind of scary looking warning to do it)

Malicious wallet software can alter transaction details to be different from what you think you are signing, but the real transaction will be reflected on your Ledger device. (Unless you are blind signing, in which case you are mostly just hoping for the best)

Correct. Malware will not alter what’s displayed on the ledger. Just make sure you are confirming the correct addresses and not copy/paste swapped addresses.

Phishing by pretending to be your Ledger Live app, get your secret phrase by a keylogger (if you happen to enter one), hacking your copy&paste to alter your pasted sending/receiving address and more.

There’s also a dusting attack where you copy what you think is your receive address from transaction history but it’s really someone else’s with only the first and last 4 characters matching your legitimate public receive address.
It works because people get into the habit of only verifying the first and last four characters on the device.

You need to verify every single one every single time

Yes some malware watches your clipboard and modifies addresses when copying/pasting

The most important you review the destination address after you paste it.

Warning:

-Never enter your seed into anything except the Ledger device itself.

-Download / update ledger live software from official website only.

-Never use search engine to access ledger website.

-Ignore all messages in your inbox and mark them as spam.

-Never click links or install software from an e-mail.

-Never respond to someone request to download remote applications(Team viewer, anydesk and etc.)

-Always conduct a small amount test while sending or receiving your funds and verify that the correct wallet address was copied/pasted into address bracket.

Info stealers – everything saved in your browsers – gone…found in most pirated cracks these days from 99% of sources.

Do not install pirated software period – DO NOT believe the crap they all claim “it is a false positive, disable your AV / allow it to run” crap because it is all BS.

It can install key loggers on your device and capture anything you input. Where do you have your seedphrase saved? Online? password manager you open on that same computer?
