Hallo! Mein Laptop mit Ledger Live darauf ist kaputt. Ich habe 2 Fragen. 1. Um Ledger Live auf meinen neuen Computer herunterzuladen, muss ich nur [Ledger.com](https://Ledger.com) und lade es von dieser Website herunter? 2. Kann ich nach dem Herunterladen einfach den Pin auf meinem Gerät verwenden, um alle Münzen zu sehen, die ich auf Ledger Live auf meinem alten Laptop gesehen habe? Vielen Dank an alle!!!

To make your live easier next time:

1) Install Ledger Live on a pc (desktop/laptop).
2) Set up everything, meaning add all necessary accounts, name everything as desired and hide whatever you want to ignore.
3) Install Ledger Live on mobile.
4) Export your accounts and settings from pc to mobile.
5) When adding new accounts, add the account on pc first and then export to mobile again. Always to pc first. (No need for a pc for making transactions, only for adding accounts.)

 

The only way to know which accounts you have is to add them 1 by 1. It’s not user-friendly to say the least, it’s really cumbersome to set it up… But if you have a backup of your Ledger Live accounts on your mobile, live is much easier, as you will know what to add in Ledger Live on the pc, and what to name each account.

 
 

Small sidenote: on macOS, just copying the Ledger Live folder from the old device to the new device to the exact same spot (`˜/Library/Application Support/Ledger Live`) will restore Ledger Live as a whole.
