Ich bin auf ein Modell T umgestiegen und habe meinen Stack in eine Shamir-Wallet verlegt. Mein alter Trezor One ist daher jetzt in perfektem Zustand, wird aber nicht mehr benutzt. Gibt es eine bequeme Möglichkeit, das Gerät zu verkaufen?

Natürlich weiß ich, dass jeder Bedenken hat, eine gebrauchte Hardware-Wallet zu kaufen, aber ich denke, ich suche einen Käufer, der sich auskennt und weiß, wie man das Gerät auf die Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzt, die Firmware überprüft usw. und sich so vor der Verwendung des Geräts absichert.

If you have no other HWW’s, it might just be a good idea to keep it laying around, it might come in handy at some point, might not.

Or you could gift it to a friend, colleague etc who trusts you to get them up and running.

create a new wallet on it, load it with $20 worth of BTC and gift it to a good friend

(along with a cryptosteel casette with a seed that you generated, that also allows them to replace it with their own if they so choose)

Just factory reset the wallet and that’s about it

Keep it for one of the following:

1. Multisig with another wallet if still invested in cryptocurrency
4. HOTP Device, useful for 2FA
2. U2F Device, different, and better type of 2FA
3. FIDO2 Device, different, and best type of 2FA
4. Password Manager
5. GnuPG keystore
6. OpenSSH keystore

And if that doesn’t work, just wipe it and put it on ebay. Hell I’m likely going to buy some old Ledgers if I can find one for a low price.
