Just keep that seed phrase (24 words) safe and don’t digitize it whatsoever. You’ll be fine.

If you ever are on “Ledger Live” and they ask for your words, it’s a scam. Never type it out, ever.

Avoid having 1 point of failure with your 24 word seed. Eliminate fire/theft/discovery possibilities. And of course never digitize your seed in any way.

One of the major places folk get scammed is when they get a prompt from something that looks like Ledger Live which then asks them for their passphrase…

Basically you need to be absolutely, 100% clear that that the only place your seed is ever entered is directly on the Ledger device itself. Never in wallet software… Never to Ledger support… Never on a website… Never on your phone or PC… Only ever on the physical Ledger Nano using the two buttons…

The ONLY place you should ever enter those 24 words into is a new ledger if you lose yours.

No pictures, no saved files on a phone or computer, don’t tell anyone you wouldn’t trust if you were handing them all the cash you have.

Also make sure the safe place won’t let your words be destroyed. Like a hand written note that could get wet or catch fire.

99% on here put their seed phrase in a malicious Form and they just won’t admit it. Instead they try to blame ledger.

Never digitise your Seed Recovery information, except to a hardware wallet or other dedicated airgapped device. Certainly never on anything capable of connecting to the internet.

Etched onto steel plates, stored in multiple secure locations far from home, secure passphrase separately from 24-word mnemonic
