Wiederherstellung der Seed Phrase vom Nano Ledger S zum neuen Nano Ledger S Plus?

Mein altes nano ledger s hat ein Problem und ich kaufte ein nano ledger s plus. Ich habe die Verpackung noch nicht geöffnet, aber ich habe das Gerät. Das einzige Mal, wenn ich meine Seed-Phrase wiederhergestellt wurde vor ein paar Jahren mit dem alten nano ledger s mit einem neuen gleichen nano ledger s. Dieses Mal wird es mit einem nano ledger s plus sein.

Als ich online ging, um nach Videos zu diesem Thema zu suchen, ist das Problem, dass sie entweder einen alten nano ledger s zur Wiederherstellung oder einen nano ledger x verwenden. Auch sie sind nicht sehr direkt als 1 oder 2 Videos, die Person erwähnt, wenn Sie einen Seed wiederherstellen möchten, klicken Sie einfach entweder die linke oder rechte Taste zum Einschalten und Wiederherstellen? Das macht keinen Sinn, weil nicht die Nano-Ledger s plus erfordern es auf Laptop angeschlossen werden? Aber wenn nicht, muss es zuerst mit etwas verbunden werden? Auch die Reihenfolge, in der sie es tun, macht keinen Sinn… sagen Sie geben Sie Seed-Phrase und wenn richtig, es zeigen verarbeitet? Dann wird erwähnt, dass man den Ledger-Echttest machen soll? just connect your new ledger to a power source (wall adapter if you are paranoid, or pc), on the ledger select the “recover” option and enter your 24-word recovery / seed phrase.
To check that everything is alright, go to your Ledger Live, connect your new ledger and click “Receive” from any account already set-up in LL with your old ledger. You’ll need to install the proper app on your ledger, as prompted. Then, If you get the address, then all is good. If you get an error, then the seed may have been entered incorrectly and the error was undetected by the checksum. This can happen but is very unlikely (only 4% of errors are undetected by the checksum).
If you get an address after clicking “Receive”. all is fine, you have nothing else to do.
An advice: try to actually understand how things actually work, rather that relying on possibly dubious youtube videos.

When you first set up your Ledger device, you must plug it into a computer and with the [Ledger Live](https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live) software installed, you’ll begin the setup process.
You start this process by plugging the device in, and even though it’s plugged into your computer, when you choose to set it up as a new device and generate a fresh, new [24 word recovery phrase](https://www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/what-is-a-recovery-phrase) – this is all done in an offline manner – such that your Ledger is separated from your computer.
The words are only generated in that moment when you first set up your Ledger and so you need to make sure you write the words down on a piece of paper, preferably multiple copies (and on metal too if possible) – and then store these copies in safe places that nobody has any access to.
Remember, if anyone has access to your 24 word recovery phrase, they can steal your funds even without the physical Ledger device (because your 24 word recovery phrase are the keys to your crypto on the blockchain).
In the case that you ever lose or break your Ledger device, you won’t restore your funds via the applications, you’ll be using your 24 word recovery phrase to [restore](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404382560913-Restore-your-Ledger-accounts-with-your-recovery-phrase?support=true) all of the funds from the previous Ledger, into the new replacement Ledger.

Are these the proper steps here?
**1. Log in my ledger live and shows all accounts.**

**2. Connect my new nano ledger s plus in laptop usb a port. But when i do this, since it’s a new device isn’t it going to ask if i want to create a new seed, or restore seed phrase or connect it to laptop say if i was installing ledger live again. I know there are 3 total options when you connect a new ledger to a laptop.**

**3. Choose recovery phrase. Then enter my new pin? Then enter the seed phrase? Then if it’s correct, what you do next? You install your accounts right? Got to assume the you creating a new pin happens after seed recovery words are entered as oppose to before? But when does the check ledger is genuine occur?**

The thing is if i had to install ledger live all over again, this wouldn’t seem that complicated as that would be like setting up the nano ledger s plus for the 1st time.Anyone can tell me if the 1st few steps are even correct? The confusing thing here is some videos say you can just power it on without connecting to anything which makes zero sense. Unless they mean the nano ledger x only which is bluetooth? Make no sense you can enter your recovery phrase on your new nano ledger s plus while it isn’t connected to a laptop.

Also as a security precaution, should one set up the new nano ledger s plus device as new? Then you write down the new seed phrase even though you don’t need it. Then you enter pin wrong 3 times. That resets your nano ledger s plus.Then you go to restore from seed phrase and then enter your old nano ledger s seed phrase to restore? Or is that completely unnecessary? As oppose to directly restoring the seed phrase?
